2010-2011 fundraising announcement has been added to

We will have another registration date on Tuesday, September 7th from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. Tuesday is also the first day of practice for Spotted and Flipper.

Because of the YMCA pool being closed until next week there will be
no practice
this Friday, Sept. 3rd, Saturday, Sept. 4th and no practice on Monday (Labor Day) September 6th.
There will be practice for Bottlenose and Spinner on Tuesday
at the YMCA from 3:00-4:30 PM
Again, practice will be at the YMCA on Tuesday, Sept. 7th from 3:00-4:30, no practice at
Normandy next Tuesday.
The normal practice schedule for Bottlenose and Spinner will resume on Wednesday, Sept. 8th.

Additional swim team sign ups will be at Normandy High School in the pool area
on Monday 8/30 and Wednesday 9/1 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Coach Mike will also be doing evaluations for new swimmers on Monday and Wednesday at Normandy High School at 6:00 PM.

Summer Swim Team will begin Monday, June 14 and go through Friday, August 20.
The fees for the summer are as follows:
Bottlenose - $250.00
Spinner - $200.00
Spotted - $150.00
Flipper - $100.00
*****You will have the option to earn back up to $50.00 per child of your summer fees through a cookie dough fundraiser. More information on the fundraising opportunity will follow*****
Checks can be made out to the Ridgewood Dolphin Swim Team and placed in an envelope in the black meet entry box on or before the first day of practice. An emergency form must be filled out for all swimmers new to the team. Forms can be found on our website or on the swim team table just inside the pool at the YMCA.
As always, swim team members are required to have a current YMCA membership before they can practice.
The Summer session practice schedule is as follows:
Flipper - Monday through Thursday 5:00 - 6:00 PM at the YMCA. Friday - OFF
Spotted - Monday through Thursday 4:30 - 6:00 PM at the YMCA, Friday 3:30 - 5:30 PM at the YMCA.

The spring swim team session starts April 26 and goes through June 11, 2010. Checks can be made out to the Ridgewood YMCA Swim Team and placed in an envelope in the black meet entry box on or before the first day of practice.

The Spring practice schedule is as follows:
Flipper and Spotted - Monday through Thursday 5:30 - 6:30 pm, Friday - OFF.

The practice changes for this Thursday, March 18th and Friday, March 19th.
Thursday: Practice for all Zone swimmers will be from 4:30-6:30 PM at the Y. Practice for all non Zone swimmers will be cancelled. This practice is MANDATORY for all Zone swimmers. If anyone can not make it at 4:30, they should get there as soon as possible.
Friday: All Practices will be cancelled.

Attention all Parents and Swimmers,
Our Divisional Championship Meet has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, Feb. 7th at the University of Akron.
Warm ups will begin at 1:00 p.m. and the meet is scheduled to start at 2:15 p.m. Everyone as of now should plan on arriving by 12:40.

The meet has been rescheduled for Saturday, January 30.

There will be no swim practice at Valley Forge or Normany this Wednesday or Thursday 12/16 or 12/17.
Bottlenose and Spinner will have practice at the YMCA tomorrow, Wednesday, December 16th. Dryland will begin at 7:15 to 8:00 and swim practice will be from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. Please note there will only be three lanes available for both groups.
On Thursday, Bottlenose and Spinner will practice from 5:00 to 6:30 pm at the YMCA
There will be no Spotted or Flipper practice on Thursday 12/17.

Coach Mike is encouraging all swimmers to sign up for the CFYN Hang Ten Odd Age Invitational Meet that will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at the Ocasek Natatorium at the University of Akron.
This will also be the location of our divisional championship meet in February and it would be a great opportunity to have your child swim there and get familiar with the pool before championships.
You will find the meet packet and sign up sheets in your folders at the YMCA and the information is also on our website.

certificate is good for a delicious Bakers Square pie. Each certificate can be redeemed for a whole pie at any participating Bakers Square restaurant. Select a $10 certificate
for any Whole Double Crust Fruit Pie, or $12 for: Apple, Banana Cream, Brownie, French Apple, French Silk, Lemon Meringue, Pecan, Pumpkin, Strawberry Rhubarb,
Triple Berry, Coconut Cream, or Cherry.
For each Fruit pie certificate you sell you will get back $2.25.
